Bocconi, at the start of its second year in business, is a small place with 12 gleaming white tables and chairs trimmed with red. It’s owned by Frank Gashi, Marco Pipolo and Mario Amon, who worked together at Amon’s Manhattan restaurant. The menu is not extensive, listing four appetizers, eight pasta dishes, and six entrées featuring chicken, eggplant, meatballs, or sausage. But what Bocconi does, it does right.
