We stumbled-upon bocconi because we saw the bocconi sign across from the Bank parking lot. It was lunchtime. We weren't expecting anything special. We figured that the nice decor will be soured by another mediocre lunch. Just like most places in Hackensack.
WE WERE WRONG!!!
We each had 2 sandwiches, plus soup. Incredible! Why? Because they didn't taste frozen. My wife (a great cook) was shocked, so was I. The price? Just right!

We plan to eat dinner at bocconi. We hope it will be as good as the lunch. If dinner is as good as lunch, we will become regular customers. The owner is friendly too.

I went to Bocconi tonight for the first time and was blown away. Finally - a place to go to with REAL Italian food - I felt like I was in Italy. Amazing people and food. Thanks Mario & Frank!

The food and the service here are both superb! Whether you eat inside, or out on the "terrace", or pick up and eat at home, the food is fabulous. Every dish I try becomes my new favorite. What a terrific restaurant!!!

Dining at Bocconi is the equivalent of a spa experience in the culinary sense. You feel pampered - from the care that's taken in the food preparation to the excellent service that the owner and wait staff provide. I am always greeted with a smile when I enter and the entire experience makes for a very enjoyable evening! I highly recommend Bocconi!

What can I say. Read the comments from the other guests and believe! I have been going here for almost two years now and have never been disappointed. Bring your wine and have a great time. Host Frank, chef Mario and the staff are very accomdating and friendly.Look at the smiles on the staff and customers. I've never had anything here that was even mediocre.Great broccoli rabe,pasta and bolognese. They usually have one or two in house made fresh pasta's. Grilled mussels, have you had them anywhere else? Everything is fresh. Nothing frozen or made ahead of time and sitting in the fridge. Very good,fresh food,made quickly. It's always a pleasure for us to dine there.Keep up the great work!

I have watched and waited every day for this little Bistro to open. I have had every item on the Menu and so have my children !! Its a lovely place and the Staff is friendly especially Frank and the Chef Mario` It is so wonderful to get a Great healthy Lunch,such fresh tasting dishes,and at such affordable prices & they accommodate any wish. Grilled Mussels!! Yummmola!!!
